katikatI watched the leaked pilot of Fringe...
Uh, like really? Another "Big Brother is watching you" angle and conspiracy? All I can say is - not again, please. Not another The X-Files just in a different package. I really don't take the whole "government is after you" crap well. I couldn't watch Alias and I lost interest in The X-Files for that very reason. And here it's spiced with heap and heap of gore and super technology.
Joshua Jackson was nice but I was never a big fan of his (I never got into Dawson's Creek) and - IMHO - his character, Peter, seemed too weak. He had no real presence, he just meekly did what Olivia told him to do. And the main heroine, Olivia, was way out of line there, the whole episode. I do understand her point and I can sympathize with her but I'm shocked that no one even tried to stop her at any point. She broke every rule in the book and everybody just patted her on the back. I just don't get it.
So yeah, as much hype as there is about the show, I'm not sure if I will keep watching...

devildoll's SGA fic "Junk Cheap". This fic is like... like comfort food for me. Whenever I feel down, I listen to this podfic by zoetrope. Not only is the story itself funny but she also reads it in a terrific way! There aren't many podficers that good...
