Of Riptide and awkward situations

I loved, adored Riptide's ep 2x02, The Orange Grove! This is, IMHO, the best episode as of yet. The guys were at their best, kicking butts and being all kinds of awesome and capable! I especially loved pilot!Nick. We usually see him only in the Mimi but in a real military chopper... *swoons* And the guys in uniforms, oh my! Oh, and Murray had been a Colonel! Who would have thought that! That ep made me all kinds of happy!

I usually don't write about RL in this LJ but... This morning, my aunt was standing at the bus stop, waiting for her bus, and her two neighbors, one woman in her eighties, the other in her sixties, didn't notice my aunt being there and they started gossiping about her, really slandering her, talking about how her husband used to steal stuff etc. etc. which is not true. Let's just say, my aunt went ballistic, literally. She completely lost it. She called the one woman, the one in her eighties who always, always causes troubles with her nosiness (she and the other woman spread rumors that my mum was an alcoholic and that we sold public property as ours), a fucking c*nt and a bitch and told her to shut her trap or she would do it for her. My aunt was yelling so loud that she woke my mum - we live next to the bus stop - she was that loud. That old woman threatened to hit my aunt and my aunt challenged her to just try it! Oh my, talk about awkward! *clears her throat*

I have to say, YAY for your aunt for standing up for herself with these two other "women" (and I use that term loosely).

If they've been going around spreading scandalous rumors about your family, it's about time that somebody told them where to get off.

I guess I'd feel awkward if it was one of MY aunts that did that -- and trust me, all three of my aunts have done really embarrassing things -- but from the other side of things, I think it's great!

Yup, it was awkward but fortunately, I wasn't there :P Oh my, my aunt can rant like you wouldn't believe it and this was really the last drop for her. But it was just a matter of time before someone snapped.

Yes, that woman made us angry time and time again but we always swallowed it. This time, my aunt just couldn't take it anymore and she snapped. It was just a matter of time. That woman had it coming, really.

Znam takove p**e, je jim neco mezi kremacnim vekem a smrti a ani cert je zatim nechce, tak skodi kde mohou. Pomlouvaji a kdovi co jeste carodejnice. Znam a napodkani kopu do pozadi s rozbehem. Takove je treba nicit nicit a jeste jednou nicit. Skoda ze se nemohou uplovat carodejnice, myslim ze bys mela jednu kandidatku na gril:)
