Bones 3x14: The Wannabe in the Weeds
May. 13th, 2008 09:35 pmWhat the heck?! O.O I definitely didn't expect THAT to happen O.O I mean, it was obvious that there would be some fall-out with Pam but I didn't think that she would actually shoot him! Or that Bones would shoot her! O.O
Booth was awesome. It was great to see what he would do for Bones! That was a terrific h/c scene!
Though I have a thing or two that I kinda didn't like about this episode. It just felt like everybody was trying too hard. I know that I'm probably not explaining it right but usually, the actors seem so... natural. I don't know if it was because of the strike - this was the last ep filmed before they had to shut down the production because of the strike - that the script wasn't polished enough or something, but everything seemed... forced. Just like the actual scenes. How could Hodgins barge into the interrogation room? And why would he do that? Why wouldn't he just call Brennan? And Brennan being all snippy towards Sweets... I think that if the writers would have had enough time, they would have cut some of these parts out totally or at least smoothed them out. As it is, the episode feels like a rough product in a desperate need of polishing.
But the last scene totally saved the whole episode for me. How Booth held Bones' hand, how she was all desperate and hugged him... Aww *giddy*
Also, I noticed that David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel are now listed as co-producers of the show. Interesting!
