Wow. It was... Wow. An amazing episode. This was my show once more! And since I was spoiler-free, Bela's deal totally surprised me. Awesome! I didn't like Bela but I adore the way they got rid of her. I totally didn't expect that! I feared that they would give her a lame way out.

Steven Williams! And Kavan Smith! And Billy Drago! Excellent! So good *beams*

I don't blame Dean for not wanting this doc's immortality. As he says, there's a difference between being alive and being human. But yikes, to be buried there forever... Yikes!

The talk between Sam and Dean in the motel room before they split up broke my heart. They are both so sad and desperate... And it really is Lilith who holds Dean's deal!

The rental car logo in Sam's car - heh, that was really... obvious XD

I can't wait for the season finale now *bounces*

Excellent guests but so much angst for our boys to run against the time

Heh. I was torn between dissatisfaction and delight, because the plotting is still rather messy and definitely rushed - oh, to have back the lost 6 episodes. And they've screwed up the timeline again. But there was so much to love, in spite of that. So dark!

Bela's demise was...another reason to regret the disrupted season. Her final scene, when she finally cracked and crumbled into tears, was the one time I've ever felt anything for her - the only time the actress has ever really convinced me that there was more to the character than surface gloss.

This season should have been the best ever. Kripke thought it would be. If only there hadn't been that pesky strike.

LOL I thought the same thing with the car rental logo. They really don't want us thinking Sam is stealing cars anymore.

But it was so awesome. One of the best episodes this season, definitely!

I quite liked the way this episode was plotted. Reminded me much more of the eps in S1 and S2.

But I agree - the strike and Reaper in the time slot hurt the ratings terribly :( I just hope that the show will recover at least a bit during S4! *crosses fingers*

The Mad Doctor MOTW was very season one urban legend! Fantastic!

It isn't the ratings that were the issue to me (important though they are) it's the build up we've missed out on leading into the finale, having lost those 6 episodes. It really does show, as so much development has to be crammed into a short space of time.

I'm happier with the episode on second viewing, though. First time around I kept being distracted by little things that bugged me. Second time, having noted all those, I was free to wallow in all the things that are amazing about it!

I was surprised by Bela's deal too, but I did love the way she went. And LMAO, blow-up dolls!!

Rufus kicked ass. I want him to come back and be curmudgeonly some more!

I'm happy that they did explain why she stole the colt in a plausible manner.

I also liked Rufus. He was weird and creepy but interesting. Something new. They do love to bring back people from the X-Files, don't they? XD

The rental logo is almost like a product placement, was that a real company?

Nope, it wasn't a real company. Someone wrote somewhere that they helped to clear this name for X-Files so Kripke used the company's name that was already used in X-Files. Heh, cute. I bet that he was all "I wonder how many fans will notice it." XD

All of the episodes since the strike ended have been so awesome.

I didn't like Ghostfacers much, but then, it was a rather experimental episode. But the other two eps were quite good!
