Nice, nice fics!

I was rather grumpy last night - for work-related reasons - and so I went and re-read some funny, funny SG:A McShep slash fics!

"Once Upon a Furry Octopus" by skoosiepants. There's a cute little furry octopus by the name Ernie on Atlantis. And it's determined to get John and Rodney together. Words: 6.000. Too cute for words!

"Junk Cheap" by devildoll. An AU where Rodney is a college professor and John owns a junk shop. Words: 13.000. This is the fic to re-read when you feel down. Rodney is his quirky self and John is simply awesome ;)

You know, last night, I was thinking. You know the demon that holds Dean's contract? Everybody seems to think that it's Lilith. But what if it's Ruby? That would explain her being all "nice" and "helpful" and saving Dean. Well, of course she couldn't have let him die if she needed him as a leverage against Sam. What if she's trying to use Sam to climb the proverbial demonic ladder, being all ambitious to replace Lilith?

Oh, and if Dean really does go to Hell and Sam gets him out, do you think that he could gain some powers down there? Like demonic powers, I mean. Like, having a shouting match with Sam and suddenly his eyes going black? Or something like that? I think that would be a nice twist :)

What do you think? Those are not spoilers. I have no idea what will happen in the season finale - and I don't want to know so don't spoil me :) It's just me speculating.

ETA: Bad news for Reaper and Aliens in America: Reaper has also lost a cast member--albeit a recurring star. Jessica Stroup has signed on to the in-the-works Beverly Hills, 90210 modern-day spin-off, according to ETOnline. On Reaper, Stroup played Cady, the possible Satan spawn and love interest to main character Sam.

I'm trying not to think of how Dean's deal will pan out because I just know that what will happen will be the total opposite to what I want to happen and I'd rather not deal with the disappointment.

I watched a few eps - my dad when to Univeristy with the guy that plays the Devil - so I gave it a chance. And if there is nothing else on. It's stuningly "OK" - not something I'd ever give something else up to watch... but I don't know that it should go away either.

I like the idea of Ruby holding the contract... You know early in the season I wondered if Ruby was Satan after she said she was a little fallen angel on their shoulder, but now we know she was human, it's unlikely. Still I liked the idea of it all the same *g*!

I have no idea what will happen in this season's finale. Sure, I did see the stills for the last ep but there was not much to see, honestly. I'm quite curious how they will solve this mess :)
