Folks, what's actually a "weapons master"? I can't find the definition anywhere. Wikipedia's def is about an armorer with film and TV production, not about a fantasy related character X(

From a lifetime of reading fantasy and sci-fi, a weaponsmaster is the guy in charge of training fighters and teaching tactics or whatever, OR someone who is a master of fighting. Well, both, probably.

It's exactly what it sounds like, someone who is a master of weapons and very proficient with them. As far as I know anyway.

Weapon master = mistr zbrani (obcas se tohle i ozve ve filmech napriklad Duna).
Jinak prelozeno Zbrojmistr. Vetsinou je to ten ktery ma na starost udrzbu majetku ve zbrojnici. Osobne si myslim, ze i dotycne zbrane mistrovsky ovlada (jak jinak by vedel co ktera zbran potrebuje).

Nejsem si jista, jestli nema i neco spolecneho s obranou hradu a velitelem osobni straze panovnika. Vetsinou se tyhle funkce dost prekryvaji.

V dnesni dobe se zbrojmistr (napr u hasicu) vetsinou stara o vyzbroj. Zajimalo kdy se tyhle funkce zmenily. Z ucitele na skladnika.
