NCIS: 4x19 "Grace Period"

This episode made me cry. I loved the character of Paula Cassidy. She was strong and really human at the same time. And don't forget beautiful too. Well, maybe I'm biased - I've loved Jessica Steen since Earth 2 and I'm sorry to see her go. Her death was truly heroic though. But I also think that it was meaningless, just a way to open up a position for Gibbs' chick.

You see, I kinda dislike Mann. Not because she "takes Gibbs away" or something similarly ridiculous but I just don't like her character. In the previous ep, when she jumped in and took over even though there was no reason for her to do so... That was bad and she sank really low in my eyes.

But I loved Tony and Paula in this episode. Their banter and closeness... And Tony's reaction to her death... It reminded me of his reaction to Jeanne's ex-lover dying. Tony rather liked that guy (well, he didn't know that it was Jeanne's ex, true) and it quite devastated Tony when they killed him.

You know, there have been quite a lot of deaths in this series. But none touched me as much as Paula's. Not even Kate's in the last ep of season 2. Paula was... special, at least in my opinion :(

Oh man, I thought this episode was so good. I was so upset when Cassidy died! :(

And I have to admit, this episode was actually the first time I liked Mann.

At least they gave her a really "good" death, you know? Nothing stupid.

I don't like Mann, period. To me, it feels like they are trying too hard to put her together with Gibbs and create a Gibbs-Director-Mann love triangle *shudders* And it's pretty obvious that she will take over Paula's position X(

Yeah, her death didn't feel worthless or pointless, which I'm happy about.
