I can't stop watching the trailer for the new movie 300. Oh my god, oh my god! *runs around in circles* It'll be one visually amazing movie. Leonidas and Thermopylae. When you imagine that 300 Spartans really did stop the whole Persian army, it's amazing.

I visited Thermopylae when I was in Greece some years ago. It's a god forsaken place, let me tell ya. It's so hot that your feet burn through your shoe soles. The soldiers there fought only in their shoes and helmets, otherwise they were naked because it was so hot.

I really need to go and watch the movie in the cinema!

It does, doesn't it? The visuals are amazing. I know that it won't be historically correct but the action will be fantastic. Yay :)

It's nice seeing some positive excitement about the release of that film because I've seen a lot of negativity towards it and it 'message' and stuff. Obviously, everyone has the right to like or dislike something, but I still enjoyed reading that little entry a lot *g*

Heh, maybe I'm dumb but I didn't see any message at all there. Just amazing action and visuals. But then, I haven't read the comic book so I'm not influenced by that. My friend doesn't like it either, but I think it'll be freaking fantastic!!!
