Odd bits and pieces

I had to deal with some personal stuff these last couple of weeks, that's why I stayed mostly away from the LJ. Hopefully, I will be back more often now :)

I really really don't like Fiona McIntosh's books. And I have to deal with them every single day, me being the one who is translating them into Czech. I have never read a book before where the heroes were so... dumb. I don't have a better word for it X(

You know, it makes me sad that there are people among the anime fans who just can't accept that some of us are not able to play other file formats than .avi. Comments like "Then buy a better computer" really raise my hackles. Not all of us live in a world dominating country and have heaps of money to spend. The things some people take for granted... *shakes her head*

As you know (or maybe don't know), I like Oishi best of all the PoT characters... Then why are all my PoT icons Eiji-centered? O.o *scratches her head*

I have a good computer, and I still prefer avi files. I get tired of having to switch players all the time, just because someone wants to try a fancy format.

Not really resolved. I just came to accept the inevitable.

You know, I like Oishi. But I like Eiji too. And I love them best together as a couple. They are just so in tune!

And you are right, the bowling episode was so much fun! XD

Maybe you can get some parody material from translating those 'dumb' books? *shrugs*

Huh, I think .avi files should not be forgotten over other formats. I completely don't understand the arrogance behind the statement 'buy a new computer' either. We all want to watch anime, so why not distribute it in a way that most people can use?

*lol* I guess Oishi is easily overshadowed by Eiji's character. But those two can't be seperated for a longer time, so I think it's ok.

I had to learn to deal with a family member's health condition. But the stress caused me really bad stomach cramps :( Hopefully, it will pass soon :)

I like Oishi with Eiji, but Oishi per se is my most favorite guy in the show. I like the gentle, carring, perpetualy worried guys. And since the h/c (which is way too rare in this anime) is Oishi-centric in the Nationals, it made me squee like a little girl! *sparkles*
