Books, books and more books
Feb. 24th, 2006 08:46 pmI finished reading "The Depth of Solitude" by Jo Bannister. I liked this one just as much as her previous books (still haven't actually read the first one, yeah, I'm rather weird, thank you), especially the first half that was all about Daniel and Brodie. In the second half, there wasn't enough Daniel though :( And my favorite quote?
"Having Daniel on your case was like being tracked by a spaniel: he never looked like he was going to bite but he never gave up."
*g*
Then I started reading "The Door into Sunset" by Diane Duane. It's the third book of her "Tale of the Five" series, but I doubt she will ever write the fourth one since it's been years since she has published the third book. But from what I understood - yeah, I took a peek - the third book actually gives you a satisfying ending, so... And this one is told from the POV of Lorn, so YAY! *g*
And right now, I would like to advertise a new comm I found -
gay_bookclub. We need more members who would recommend some great gay books or manga! Come and join.
And last night, I spent literally hours with browsing through Amazon. And the stuff you discover there *happy* Thank the God that I got paid this week *wanders off to order more books*
