katikatThis is a... weird show O.o I think it might actually top Twin Peaks with its Log Lady and the Dancing Midget. It's just simply weird O.o Luckily, the characters are interesting, though there are a lot of, I don't know how to call it, empty moments where nothing at all is happening. And I admit that I do skip some of them because they drag, unbelievably!
But the characters! I think my favorites are Lito and his lover Hernando. And Nomi and Amanita. But where Nomi and Amanita are sweet but also very tragic, considering Nomi's bigoted family, Lito and Hernando are sweet and hilarious. Good grief, Lito really isn't a man for everyday life, is he? Luckily, Hernando is a patient man, even when Lito fucks up, regularly. And those two and Daniela? Comedy pure! So yeah, as long as I have Nomi/Amanita and Lito/Hernando to look forward to, I'm happy.
I think the least interesting characters, for me, are Capheus, Riley and Sun. They're amazing characters, I just don't particularly care about their backstory. I love them as parts of the cluster, but their individual stories aren't all that interesting to me. We'll see how it continues...
