Doctor Who 411-413

katikatDonna's fate... I think that was the most cruel thing that could have happened to her. Out of all the companions so far, I think her fate was the saddest. I mean, I understand why the doctor did it, I get that, I really do, still... 10 basically "reset her", all her character development was gone, and yeah, thanks to her, many races were saved, including the Ood, but she lost all that. All she has learned, all she has seen...
And, you know, Rose Tyler is actually likable when she kicks ass and doesn't bawl and whine, "Doctor, oh, Doctor!" all the time. Martha was as kick-ass as ever, of course. Jack, Ianto and Gwen, too. Mickey... poor Mickey, once AGAIN he was the unwanted third wheel; but I was glad that he basically finally said "eff you all!" and went to live his own life with people who actually SAW and appreciated him. Sarah Jane... I have no strong feelings about her; yeah, she's sweet but since I've never seen her DW eps nor her show...
Though when the culprits were revealed, all I could think was, "Daleks? AGAIN?!" The writers have a universe full of creatures and races, why do they insist on bring the Daleks and the Cybermen back again and again and again? It's rehashing the same old story every time. But then, my favorite DW creatures are the Weeping Angels and the Silence. Now THOSE are cool!
I think now I have only 10's regeneration left and then I can hop onto 11!
