I challenge all my friends to write a haiku! Just one, about anything that comes to your mind...

A haiku of my own:

I caught the wind in
My outstretched hands, my fingers
Turning cold and numb

My second haiku ever! Woohoo! I feel so proud of myself :D

Isn't there a rule or something? About the number of words for each line? 5-7-5 or something like that? Or am I thinking of something else entirely. Which is not uncommon. ^^;

It's 5-7-5 syllables for a total of 17 and the traditional haiku mentions a season as well.
