Doctor Who 111-113

I have now arrived at David Tennant's Doctor, #10. Well, I will arrive at it once I buy it on DVD, which won't happen any time soon because a) I need to take a short break from anything DW related and b) I just ordered S1 of Star Trek: Voyager on DVD, so...

The last 3 episodes... Even the pig-like aliens were bearable with Jack. But then, Cpt. Jack Harkness makes everything better. One thing I noticed was how... different DW's Jack was from TW's Jack. DW's Jack was funny and sweet and flirty and careless and... light. TW's Jack was... sadder, darker, it feels like he's carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. But it made me want to re-watch TW! I'll have to buy the Complete Series Box Set from Amazon UK, they have it for approximately Ł30!

The ending... so, Bad Wolf was kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy, wasn't it? And 9's best scenes? Those with Jack, when they flirted together, that was incredibly sweet - and hot. The scene where Jack said good-bye to Rose and the Doctor and kissed them both the same way... lovely! And then Rose brought Jack back to life and they left him there, not knowing he survived. Well OUCH! I'm actually curious about their next meeting!

To sum it up. I didn't like Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor. I'm not too fond of Rose. But I ADORE Jack! Jack makes everything better. So, the second part of S1 was great. The first part though... Eh.

Stargate: Atlantis 101+102

OMG! I COMPLETELY FORGOT JUST HOW MUCH I ADORED THE SERIES! EEEEEEEEEEEE! Sorry, needed to get it off my chest! Just... Elizabeth! John! Rodney! Teyla! I'm even liking Ford this time around, with some distance! But especially, SHEPPARD! EEEEEEEEEE!

Sheppard and O'Neill! "Don't touch anything!" "I told you not to touch anything!" "I just sat down." Like twins, separated at birth!
Sheppard and McKay! "720." "I knew that, I'm just surprised that you do." Already shocking your teammate with your intelligence, major!
Sheppard and Teyla! "Your leader looks through me as if I were not there." "Do I?" I love, LOVE their friendship!
Sheppard and Elizabeth! The way he's all, "Yes, ma'am." Or when he waved to her, going through the gate with Sumner!

This is so, so cool! I love it! LOVE IT! Man, how could I have forgotten just how much I loved it? I'm glad I still have so many SGA books to read, 13 if I'm not mistaken! \o/ Like, really! \o/
