XMFC sequel!

The CBM.com site writes that, according to THR, the sequel to XMFC should start filming this fall already: link! *squee* OMGOMGOMG! How awesome is that? James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender in one movie together again! And this one should be even more about them than XMFC! *flail*

Gosh, please, Vaughn&Co., please, don't disappoint me! Please, remember what you said, that no matter their differences, Charles and Erik will always remain the best of friends! Please, don't go down the X3 route where Ratner turned their friendship into a mockery! Don't do it! This is your universe, a reboot, a retooling! What happened in X1-3 does not need to happen, as Jane Goldman said!

"Assassin's Creed: The Secret Crusade (Assassin's Creed #3)" by Oliver Bowden

Bowden's best effort yet. The book still feels choppy and jumpy and thin but not as much as the previous two. It's the story of Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, a young, brash and arrogant Assassin who has to undergo a long journey before he gets wiser and becomes the Master of his Order. At first, it was really hard for me to identify with him because he really was downright unlikable but with time, he matured and changed and I started to like him a bit more than Ezio, the hero of the previous 2 books.

Still, not really my cuppa.

I decided to go through some of the old podfics that I downloaded months/years ago and saved because they were so, so good! And these days, there's a dire dearth of podfics in fandoms I follow, like Sherlock, XMFC or ST: Reboot *pouts*

John still feels like he's missing something but he can put most of it together. It's nuts. Absolutely barking mad. Then again, this is Sherlock. "You kissed me to stop me getting married, having children and moving to the countryside?"

Gosh, I miss fayjay AKA pandarus' podfics. What an amazing reader. It's all kinds of tragic that she stopped reading fics, especially the Sherlock ones *unhappy sigh*
