I've been in a very WhiCo mood lately so I picked up my S1&2 DVD box sets and listened to all the audio commentaries again and clicked through my favorite episodes and generally just rolled in the pretty.

I have to say that the audio commentaries on the S1 set are much better - and there's much more of them too. My favorite moments, there're so many of them. Like Tiffani Thiessen swooning over Matt Bomer's hot body. Tim DeKay complaining about how heavy Matt is because he's all muscle. Tim calling Matt "Matty"... It's wonderful. You can literally feel just how much these people like each other. It's fantastic.

Also, two and a half seasons in, my favorite episodes are:

1. 114 Out of the Box
2. 101 Pilot
3. 107 Free Fall
4. 201 Withdrawal
5. 209 Point Blank

And my favorite music scores? When Neal's sculpting bare-chested in 114, that's such a catchy tune that I usually watch the scene twice or three times in a row - the fact that it has half-nekkid Matt Bomer doesn't hurt either ;) And then the scene at the airport in 114, when Peter tries to convince Neal to stay. Man, that one is so wonderful! \o/

"Touchstone" by machshefa, read by fire-juggler | John/Sherlock | Magical realism AU | On John Watson’s sixth birthday, his mum gave him a flat wooden box to hold his wish stones. | 1hr. 10min.

Sherlock is fascinated by the pigment staining John’s skin.

Sherlock’s fingertips trace the winding path of a particularly vibrant strand of blue along John’s forearm, as if by touching it, he might understand all of life’s great mysteries.

So wonderful and dreamy... I love magical realism stories!
