Day 13 - Favorite childhood show:

Robin of Sherwood with Michael Praed. This show has always been the one and only Robin Hood for me. The perfect combination of mystery, mythology, action, suspense, humor and... simple atmosphere. I mean, back then, who didn't know Herne the Hunter or Robin's legendary sword Albion? Who didn't know the amazing Nasir? Or the beautifully freckled Marion? This show... Oh my, it really did leave a lasting impression on me, for its music if nothing else.

Richard Speight Jr.

I just caught Richard Speight Jr. - AKA the Trickster/Gabriel from Supernatural - in Life, episode Re-Entry where he played Dean Ellis, one of the suspects - and man, I wanted to smoosh him, he was so cute! Seriously, from the beginning I crossed my fingers and hoped that he wasn't the killer because he was such a woobie! Cute!

Which reminds me, over the hiatus I need to watch Life - my mom loves it and honestly, I think that Charlie and Ted would have made a much better couple than Charlie and Dani, but, well, that's just IMHO ;)

Review: The first time I read this story, it was on-line. I fell in love with it within the first chapter or two and I've been in love with it ever since. When I found out that it was possible to buy it in a paperback form, I didn't hesitate.

The book is told from the POVs of Alex, the clueless and unwilling Keeper, and Evan, his bitter Sha'erah. The whole story is about them, how their relationship evolves, which is amazing. It's a real bromance in the making, quite the fascinating thing. And I love the setting!

I'll be definitely buying Book 2.

"Everything Feels Like the End of the World" by Chash. J2. Summary: AU. Jared Padalecki is ridiculously and pathetically in love with this hot senior who's really into acting. So, clearly, the only solution is to get into acting and go from there. Length: 15.500 words.

Jared has been in love with Jensen Ackles ever since he saw him in the fall musical. They did Kiss Me, Kate and Jensen was pretty much the best thing Jared had ever seen. He feels like a stupid high school cliche, the freshman in love with the popular senior. It's not like Jensen is the captain of the football team or anything (although the football captain actually is dating a freshman, so maybe he'd be better off that way), but he's got a lot of friends, and there are all these girls who go to all his performances and cheer really loud for his bows. Jared does too, but he cheers really loud for everyone and is just generally enthusiastic, so no one's really noticed that he spends about 90% of his day trying to figure out a way to make Jensen Ackles love him.

What a cute story! It's really funny, the way Jared grows up, turning from a midget into a giant. And he's still in love with Jensen. Aww... Love AUs!
