Fox moves fall to late summer: "Fox will kick off its season in late August with a week of two-hour premiere events in an effort to build up audiences early, beginning with the debut of Prison Break's fourth season on August 25."

Last night, I watched several eps of Stargate: Atlantis: The Storm, The Eye, The Defiant One and Hot Zone and I must say the show is getting better and better. So far, I loved The Defiant One and Hot Zone best. TDO for all the Sheppard/McKay interaction, for McKay being all worried about Sheppard when John went out against the Wraith alone. And HZ for the suspense. I think that it was a great idea and again, it showed us a very smart Sheppard - I mean, a nuclear explosion?! That was really and truly awesome! Although in The Eye, I loved how Sheppard raised the gate shield and killed 50 men without blinking. That was all kinds of awesome.

But my favorite interactions were, curiously, in The Storm:
John: I'm here!
Rodney: I told you to contact me when you got to the first one, major!
John: I'm in the first one, Rodney.
Rodney: Oh, sorry, I've already done mine.
John: Oh, great, good for you.
Weir: Me too.
John: Good for everyone!

Rodney: Yes, theoretically.
John: Like dinosaurs turning into birds theoretically or theory of relativity theoretically?
Rodney: *beat* What?

Rodney: It's a brisk walk away.
John: And by brisk you mean... far?
Rodney: Err... By walk I mean run.

And a gen fic rec for SG:A's Hot Zone:
"Biology Lesson" by K. Hanna Korossy. So, John got nuked a bit. But what if it was more than a bit? Words: ~3.000.

I have so much love for Stargate: Atlantis at the moment that you wouldn't believe it! I watch like three or four eps a day, with commentaries and without, I just can't get enough! And right now, I finished watching the episode Brotherhood which was all kinds of awesome because it had an immensely smart Sheppard:

Sheppard: I got it!
McKay: What?
Sheppard: The Brotherhood of 15.
McKay: What about it?
Sheppard: The numbers one to nine can be put in a three-by-three grid so they add up to 15 in every direction.
McKay: Oh you're right. How'd you know that?
Sheppard: It was on a Mensa test.
McKay: You're a member of Mensa?
Sheppard: No, but I took the test.
McKay: When?
Sheppard: You want to talk about this now, Rodney?
McKay: Right. Right. Okay.

McKay: I can't believe you never mentioned the Mensa thing.
Sheppard: I took the test, I never joined.
McKay: But you passed.
Sheppard: Yes.
McKay: You know, we have a chapter on Atlantis.
Sheppard: Rodney. Rodney! Up the rope!

I love me some smart Sheppard. And McKay's face! The director and the writer laughed their asses off about this scene. They adored the way Joe Flanigan and David Hewlitt played it!
