* According to TV Guide, the Sam/Madison love scene in SPN's Heart is one of the 10 most steamy sex scenes on TV. I bet that Jared is so proud :P

* The LJ staff sorta, kinda apologized for yesterday's mess-up with the Basic accounts. Unfortunately, they immediately put their foot in their collective mouth - instead of apologizing for trying to sneak in such a major change behind our backs, they blamed choosing the wrong "tone" *head/desk*

* Supernatural fic rec, GEN --> "Gumboots" by [livejournal.com profile] strippedhalo. Dean has a power of his own... he glows like a flashlight XD

* Off to work!

Wow, Reaper did much better than I expected.

I decided to try and read books from more than one or two genres more often, really. For some time, the only books that I read were gay romances and they started to bore me to tears, really. Just like manga. I love manga but I need some variety, some diversity, a bit of this and a bit of that, not too much of one thing.

So, in the last week or so, I finished Hines' "Goblin Hero", Koontz's "The Face of Fear", Oki's "Ja-Dou: Teiou and Keika" and Butcher's "The Frankenstein's Factory" and started reading the paranormal anthology "On the Prowl". And that's more like it. I suddenly enjoy the various books much more :)

I always sweat-drop when I use the "compare books" feature on GoodReads and I find out that I have no books in common with people. I understand when it's someone who read 500 books. But a top user with over 10.000 books and I have not one book in common with them? That's rather... O.o-inducing, really XP

And when someone over on GR asks me to be their friend, I think about it twice before approving their request. There are two sorts of people that I refuse to friend: a) "friend-diggers", people who have ten times as many friends as they have books in their profile and b) people from the Near or Middle East - I have nothing against them personally, it's the language barrier. When they list more than 50% of their books in Arabic, which I don't speak, titles and reviews and all...
