I received a review telling me that my latest story "Lord of the Demons" doesn't make sense from the canon point of view because the episodes Crossroads and All Hell Breaks Loose 2 proved that the deal can be broken. I beg to disagree...

In Crossroads, the deal was broken because the demon stepped aside and made the deal void from her side. If she had said no and they exorcised her, the deal would still stand... Or at least she would be hell bent - no pun intended - on killing that guy when she crawled out of the pit.

In All Hell Breaks Loose 2, John got out of Hell, true. But he didn't make the deal with a Crossroads demon but with the YED. And maybe he got free only because the YED went puff. It wasn't proved that John wouldn't have gone back to Hell if the YED stayed alive so the deal wasn't technically broken.

Of Henricksen and fics...

Remember when Henricksen first appeared in Nightshifter on Supernatural? Back then, when I read the spoilers for that ep I totally expected to hate him. I feared that they would turn the show into another Renegade - which was a good series but that's not the point here. I feared that suddenly, it'll be all about the boys running from cops in every ep... Yes, I was quite dissatisfied with the direction this series could take. And now? Give me back my Agent Henricksen! :D

I love the guy. I really, truly do! He's only trying to do his job and he and Dean have an incredible chemistry. When these two are together in one room, sparks fly. Dean is undoubtedly Henricksen's favorite felon and I love the way Henricksen smirks every time Dean manages to somehow escape him. You can fairly see the guy rubbing his hands in glee, looking forward to another hunt!

I so wouldn't mind if they turned Henricksen into another recurring character of Bobby Singer's category. That would be so awesome. Unfortunately, I don't think that will happen *sigh*
