Supernatural 3x03 and a Smallville book

Supernatural 3x03? Was the best humorous ep so far on this show...

You know, I'm actually thinking about buying a Smallville book. Which one? "City" by Devin Grayson. I heard only good things about it and it made me curious. Follow-up books usually don't receive such good ratings on Amazon.

Ratings...

Viewers 3.06 million (last week 3.16 mil.), retention out of Smallville 60 % (last week 66%), A18-49 1.3/3 (last week 1.1/3), retention among adults 65 % (last week 58 %)...

But these aren't the final numbers yet. Hopefully, they won't drop much. Last week, they dropped 0.07 mil.

Is it just me...

... or did they really stop using classic rock songs on Supernatural? I mean, last season, we had at least one big hit per episode. Now... Do you think that it was one of the conditions for the pick-up of the show? That Kripke would cut down on the songs to save money?
