I finally got around to watch the latest episode of Supernatural... and it killed me ded! Especially the ending. A nerve-shattering cliffhanger. But if the series won't get picked up for a 2nd season, a passable ending at the same time too. Not the happiest one, but passable... a certain closure. But I really do hope that there will be a second season. Are the TPTB trying to give the fans a heart attack? Do you remember Sentinel and S2P1? *is ded*
On another note - I finished Steve Kluger's "Almost Like Being in Love". What a hoot! That's one of the best books I have ever read and I'm so happy about the ending. Travis and Craig are one of the most fantastic couples in the history of books *is happy*
And now I picked up Jim Butcher's "Storm Front", Book One of the Dresden Files. I'm twenty pages into it and it looks great so far. Harry Dresden, the only wizard in the Chicago's Yellow Pages, solving crimes and trying to outrun his bad luck :) My favorite quote so far?
"The more delicate and modern the machine is, the more likely it is that something will go wrong if I get close enough to it. I can kill a copier at fifty paces."
Yup, Harry doesn't like technology much... or better said, technology doesn't like Harry much :D That's the dark side of being a wizard ;P
And I want to snuggle
yami_tai like a big plushy bear! You are the best almost-sister, really, girl. And not just because of the yellow rose *smile*
