So, I decided to change the layout of my LJ. And I made myself a new icon too. Yep, the wonderful men of HaruToki - General Tomomasa and Takamichi on the layout and Yasuaki on the icon. I like it and I'm quite content with what I accomplished here. Especially since all I worked with was Adobe 4.0 and Microsoft Photo Editor :) Yep, quite content :)

And I want to thank my lovely [livejournal.com profile] yami_tai for guiding me through the labyrinth that is LJ!

Josh Lanyon's "A Dangerous Thing" is a great book. From the beginning, you can't but love Adrien. He owns a bookshop, he is gay, has a weak heart and is in love with a coward. Yep, that's what Jake is in my opinion. I mean, I understand the fact that him being a gay could make his life as a cop unbearable and I also understand his need to hide his homosexuality. But to tell Adrien that he is involved with him and then go and sleep with some chick...! Or when he told Adrien that he wanted to marry one day and even expected him to understand it... Poor poor boy. But I loved the scene where Adrien woke up in the hospital and had the feeling that Jake had been holding his hand :P It must be mighty confusing for Jake to have these strange feelings for another man. Especially since all he has wanted from men until now was sex of the BDSM sort. One must wonder who he is trying to convince with his macho talk - Adrien or himself?
