The Mortal Instruments

So, The Hobbit. I've seen it twice now and I'm head-over-heels, totally smitten with Aidan Turner. I know that everybody and their uncle is fawning over Thorin and Richard Armitage but I'm a Kili!girl. Which made me fall hard for Aidan Turner. Which made me order S1-3 of Being Human UK on DVD (the box set cost Ł15 only). And which makes me look forward to The Mortal Instruments like whoa!

I haven't read the books yet, but I can't wait to see it. Not because of Lily Collins' Clary Fray and her issues and her love story and what not. But because of these two:

Because of Lena Headey as Jocelyn Fray and Aidan Turner as Luke Garroway. Not only do I love them as actors, the best thing is that they become a couple! Like seriously! Lena Headey and Aidan Turner playing a couple! Can you believe it??? The funny thing is that based on the pictures, Aidan will sport a full beard in the movie - he'll be more bearded there than as a dwarf! LOL! So yeah, I guess it'll be like with me and Twilight - there I also cared more about Carlisle than about the main romance...

I've been reading your posts about The Hobbit, and even your last post about Being Human UK, and seen that icon all the time, and it's only just now when you actually spell it out that I realize that Mitchell is Kili! And now I see it in his eyes and I wonder how I missed it, but omg, the scruff and the long hair really *coff* do something for him. Yes indeedy. *g*

LOL, he looks a bit different there, doesn't he? I think he had some nose prosthetics. He's one incredibly hot dwarf.

Yeah... I'm a kili girl, too. I might have to give Being Human UK another look. As for The Mortal Instruments, don't read the books. I tried reading the first one and just couldn't make it through. However, the movie might be better.

I will see about the book. I actually liked the Twilight books, so this one might be up my alley too?

Possibly. The story and the world fascinated me, but I don't think I like Clare's writing style. :) But, of course, I remember her Potter fanfic days so that could have tainted it. ;)
