I don't think I would have had this much fun watching these eps if I hadn't marathoned them. The last four episodes were so interconnected that it was like watching a 160 min. long movie.
You know, I actually ended up liking Scott Wolf's character and it's too bad he's dead now. The last smile Gibbs gave him... I mean, I know that he was a bad guy but he actually was a lot of fun.
Poor Ducky. I hope that a) he isn't dead and b) his part won't be that diminished with Brian Dietzen's Jimmy being a regular now. I wonder if maybe David McCallum asked for a lighter workload? I mean, he isn't the youngest anymore, after all...
I hope that with Tony and Ziva in the lift, there will be SOME progress with their romance. Or they will finally decide to drop the whole UST and be just friends. This will they, won't they is getting old. I want them as a couple or buddies, not this half... something.
So, if I should compare NCIS and NCIS:LA's season finales, I liked NCIS:LA's better. Maybe because there was a shorter set-up? Or maybe because the cliffhanger was much more unexpected and shocking? In any case, both were great and I liked them more than last year's, in both cases.
And I'm done with NCIS for the season. Woohoo! And still 11 days to go before WhiCo comes back.
