katikatFinally watched the pilot of Suits. It didn't wow me as much as White Collar's pilot did two years ago but I liked what I've seen so far.
Though I can't help but see the similarities between this and WhiCo - Harvey is a slicker version of Peter (the successful man-of-the-company) and Mike a less experienced and less confident version of Neal (basically, the lovable crook). The setting's New York and even the offices are all glass and pretty views.
I liked that Harvey pretended not to care one bit - then went to Louis and told him he would kick his ass if he ever threatened one of his people. Loved it!
Another thing I loved was how Mike blackmailed Harvey and Harvey then blackmailed Jessica. That was funny.
Or the interviews and Harvey's secretary. And the paralegal girl.
And Gina Torres is amazing!
