There were many, of course. And since I'm still really, really, REALLY obsessed with this movie - and I love to torture my flist with my obsession - I'll gush about them one at a time; yes, I'm devious like that, mwahahaha! ;P

This scene was so beautiful and heartbreaking, starting with Charles asking for a permission to read Erik's mind and ending with Charles reassuring Erik empathically that there was good in him too, that he had felt it. And there were tears! Shared tears!
This scene pretty much proves that Charles is deeply empathic - and it also shows the depth of Erik's trust, that he let Charles in. I loved Erik's... surprise? shock? disbelief? that Charles found goodness in him. Aww...
I adored the way James McAvoy played the part here, the way he looked so shaken, almost unglued. Beautiful.
