It was a good episode, but I liked 201 better...
... Because I prefer Peter and Neal united against an outside threat rather than going against each other. Now Peter is on Neal's trail and Neal's lying to Peter - for no other reason than to protect himself. Before, he always did it because he was trying to find Kate or find Kate's killer, now... I mean, I always knew he was a criminal, but this kinda... cheapens him a little? I don't know... *shrugs*
I was missing the genuine warmth between the characters because there was this voice in the back of my head shouting that Neal's LYING LYING LYING LIAR THAT LIES every time he smiled at Peter, it wasn't honest anymore, you know? I mean, I do get why he's doing it - Peter basically got the ball rolling when he chose to blame Neal and not believe him, the one time Neal didn't actually DO anything, and yet...
Things I liked:
* El's involvement.
* Neal fencing, losing his tie - and asking Diana's opinion XD
* Neal and Moz's scenes.
* That Neal gave up his escape route to save Jones.
* That Neal didn't ask Sara to lie, just to tell the truth.
* June's granddaughter!
* Those "copies" of Neal.
I'm strangely okay with the Nazi treasure that's been causing such a hissy fit in the fandom these days - every treasure is blood money. I can't condemn Nazi treasure but swoon over Aztec gold, for example - that attitude is hypocritical like WHOA!
