NCIS:LA 216

katikatI usually write about NCIS and NCIS:LA together but this ep deserves an entry of its own.
MAN, THAT WAS GREAT! I mean, Sam and Callen are the epitome of bromance, seriously! And they kick major, major ass. And Kensi and Deeks, wow, that was... How can it be that the whole team kicks so much ass? As much as I love NCIS, it's not really an action show, but NCIS:LA... Wow, the action sequence in this episode was EPIC!
Epic scene was epic, am I right? Placebo's "Running Up That Hill" and the whole shoot-out on the highway... That was some great cinematography, the truck riding through the smoke, the bikes blowing up... Wow!
And I loved it when Sam complained about their, his and Callen's, lack of banter, that they couldn't search for a higher meaning in their relationship if they couldn't talk. That was perfect.
Man, Sam was pissed when the guy pulled a gun on Callen in that bikini bar. And then, when he shot the bad guy who wanted to ambush Callen and told him that it was personal! But what did he say to Callen on the side of the highway? He said that the vest caught it, then something something, and then he told Callen not to say it and Callen responded you're welcome.
Eric broke the internet! LOL! "Even Twitter?"
I just adore how they can go from banter to deadly serious in three seconds flat.
Man, I'm happy with this episode. I've already seen it twice! I'm so glad that NCIS:LA is one of the few real action shows that remain on TV these days.
