katikatI definitely made the right call when I decided to watch the last three eps of this season together.
Together namely, these eps made an intriguing whole. I was actually really curious about what would happen. Though honestly, it was a bit too complicated, what with Abby's report and does Gibbs work for the cartel now or not?
It was a good, solid finale - but I hope that next season will be more balanced, not just about Gibbs. I think that the Shannon-Kelly story line is finally exhausted, enough is enough. It's time to move on, to come up with something new involving intimately the rest of the team too. As it was, I felt that the team was just background material for Gibbs' solo. And as interesting as that was, I need something more to keep this show on my "watch ASAP" list, otherwise I'll move it to the "watch whenever" column.
But previous experience has proven, that Shane Brennan is much better with season openers than with season finales, so I'm not losing hope - yet.
Now, only Bones and The Mentalist remain for me to catch up on, then I can start marathoning my DVDs!
