Date: 2010-05-20 12:48 pm (UTC)Oh well. I suspect that S6 will be the show's last, anyway. The actors are signed for only one more season and I don't think that they would want to extend their contract anyway. At least we got S6.

Date: 2010-05-20 12:57 pm (UTC)We'll see how it goes but it's for sure that SPN won't be the CW's 2nd best rated scripted show anymore. I suspect that it'll drop to a 5th or 6th place.

Date: 2010-05-20 09:58 pm (UTC)The time change shows that unless the rating pick up--which they might, now that TNT is running it--season six is going to be the last. :wibble:

Date: 2010-05-21 01:43 am (UTC)And from what it looks like, the CW is trying to broaden their appeal - they said they're still focusing on W18-34, but trying to branch out and create shows that appeal to A18-34 in general. Such as Nikita, and Nomads, which might potentially come up midseason, rumor has it. So a show like SPN, which usually appeals fairly equally to W18-34 and M18-34, would be an ideal launching pad for any type of show the CW would like to add to Fridays once Smallville is gone.
That is, of course, assuming they can get Jared and Jensen to sign on for subsequent seasons.
