Of actors and The Sentinel

I just ordered The Sentinel S1 on DVD. I suddenly felt a strong urge to see the show again. I mean, Jim and Blair and Simon! \o/ Too bad that the other seasons aren't out on DVD yet :( Would you believe that I saw that show in three different languages and none of them was English?

Also, I added Early Edition S1 to my Amazon wish list. How I loved this show! *sigh* Would you believe that I have no idea how it ended, though? The same goes for The Pretender. My interest just waned. But that's what DVDs are for, right? :)

And actors. I love Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. I love to read about them, about their con attendances, about their banter and bickering off-screen, about the pranks. But I don't feel any urge to see them in something else besides SPN.

With Joe Flanigan, it's just the opposite. It's enough for me to know that he's happy with his wife and his three sons, I don't need details or interviews etc. But I already bought two movies that he was in just because he was in them. And that's why I will keep buying SGA in any sort and form, as long as he's in it. And I will look for more movies/series with him in the future. I hope that he'll get to play detective again. I love him as a cop! :)

Oh, and I re-watched SGA's Ghost in the Machine. I do understand why some people might not like the main storyline of this ep, but I adore, love the the beginning. Flying monkeys! Jumper mishap! John immediately knowing that the flickering lights were Rodney's fault. His "Rodney!" when the bolt almost hit him! It's so cool that when I feel down, I watch the first ten minutes over and over again! \o/

Eh, I love JA in Dark Angel. But I saw that before Supernatural. I've seen JP in Gilmore Girls, as well, but it's only a small role and his acting really has improved since!

I did go all the way to London just to see JA in Ten Inch Hero, though, which I can thoroughly recommend - I was expecting it to be disappointing, low budget, not that great...but I absolutely loved the film. If it ever gets that distributor it needs, watch it!

I liked JA in DA too. But JP left me rather cold in GG. I mean, he was a real boy there, bean pole and all. I like him now, filled out and muscled and all grown-up, better :)

Heh, JP is a real baby in GG - and his acting is really lousy a lot of the time. He's matured so much as an actor the last couple of years. Plus, of course - grown up now! LOL

JA in DA is full of potential - lots of little glimpses of what he's capable of, if given a meaty enough role. Plus, so very pretty - too pretty, almost. The added years look good on him. He is maturing beautifully, in every way.

I think that Jensen was perfect for Alec. The whole X-whatever series should have been extremely beautiful and Max and Alec really fit that description. But I do like Jensen now better too :)

He was absolutely perfect for Alec. As much as I liked the actor who played Zack, who did a good job in the role, I never felt he looked right for an X5. JA just embodied the beauty and grace they were all meant to have been designed with.
