Catching Up on Stuff!
I mean, in the movies, Coulson has never been my favorite character and I never understood the hype around this character. But here, he's the best character - that's pretty telling. He and his resurrection are the only interesting things so far, IMHO. And Skye and Ward are the most boring ones. Seriously, can there be two blander "will become a couple in the future" characters? I'm hanging there because I hear it's finally getting better around ep 7 or 8 but, honestly, I shouldn't have to wait 1/3 of a season to see something interesting happening.
Why can't this be a normal procedural, just a funny one? Why does it have to be a sitcom with bits of a procedural? I think the former version would've been much wittier and sharper. Oh, and I loved Gina in this ep, she really does know people, doesn't she?
I loved his talk with Watson at the very end, when he told her that him being pleasant and kind to her takes effort, that he is an acerbic, rude man and him being kind goes against his nature, he's just accommodating her. THANK YOU, GODS ABOVE! Proves my point RE: any Sherlock Holmes out there - Doyle's Holmes, any incarnation, has always been rude and downright hostile, some people just refuse to see it. Also, I was happy that Gregson stood up for Sherlock and Joan, that was lovely. But I bet it'll come back and bite him in the ass.
Especially towards Castiel - and that leads to Cas being portrayed as a woobie which I hate *sigh* Can the writers just stop? This whole Abaddon and Crowley and Ezekiel and Castiel thing is taking way too long. I really don't need to see another episode of poor, poor Castiel and Dean being a douche - like, what did Dean THINK Castiel would do when Dean kicked him out of the bunker? Cas had no money, no home, nowhere to go! WHAT DID DEAN FRICKIN' THINK HE WOULD FRICKIN' DO?! Eff it! Yes, it makes me very angry and I don't like being angry, especially when it comes to SPN.
907 was the best ep of this season so far, hands down. Good, old-fashioned ghost hunting. And another proof that John Winchester was an ass. Good. I hated the character when he was on the show. I'm glad that my dislike of him hasn't been unreasonable. The kid playing Dean was amazing, though, both thumbs up!
I'm also downloading TVD again but it's mostly going like this, blahblahblahblah-JEREMY&BONNIE-blahblahblah-JEREMY&BONNIE-blah for me. Yes, Jeremy and Bonnie are my reason to watch it. They are such an incredibly hot couple. There's something about them... *_* Hopefully, the writers don't break them up again. That would piss me off, really!
