House 4x16: Wilson's Heart

Well, that was different. A very sad tearjerker. I actually really cried, it was that sad.

I loved Amber but I'm still happy that they killed her. It had a much bigger impact than if she turned out to be just another POTW. Wilson lying with her on the bed as she died... So sad :( I also loved that this ep showed us how far House would go for Wilson, if Wilson just asked him to, how afraid he is of losing Wilson's friendship. It was amazing. But I don't understand why Wilson is pissed at House now. I mean, sure, House called and Amber came to pick him up but the bus thing was an accident. And then House risked his life and brain damage to find out what was really wrong with Amber. So, can someone explain to me, why Wilson is angry at House now? *confused*

A great episode! There was only one thing that I didn't care about at all: the "ducklings", the old ones and the new ones too. I just, really don't care about them *shrugs*

And according to TVbytheNumbers.com's chart of time-shifted programs for the week April 28 - May 4, Supernatural's ep Long Distance Call was 4th among the percentage gains (behind The Office, Lost and Gossip Girl), gaining 27.3% more viewers and reaching 3.15 mil. in the Live+7 viewers!

Yes, it was an accident. But Wilson is grieving. He's going to want to blame someone. It's human nature to want a reason for things like this hapenning, and Wilson is going to see it being House's fault. If House hadn't gotten drunk, Amber would still be alive.

I think Wilson actually still cares about House. He stayed outside his room until House regained consciousness. It seems to me like Wilson knows very deep down that House isn't to be blamed. Once he deals with his grief, I think he'll be able to forgive House for being part of Amber's death.

I liked the ducklings in this episode. It was interesting to see how they dealt with the loss of one of their own. It showed me that they're not all powerful, and that they all deal in different ways.

I still don't see why the House/Cuddy fans are creaming themselves over the last two episodes. Yes, Cuddy loves House, but I still don't see any reason to think either is "in love" with the other. Just my 2 cents.

I think that various fan groups were happy for various reasons: the House/Cuddy ones, just like the House/Wilson ones. I just adored the interaction between House and Wilson. So far, we've only seen Wilson doing things and getting in trouble for House. It was nice to see it the other way around too, it was great to see that House actually values Wilson's friendship so much :)

It's more like, he's not exactly angry at House for Amber dying, he logically knows that it wasn't his fault what happened. But at the same time if House hadn't been obstinate and such Amber would be alive, House would be fine etc. He's grieving as well and while he doesn't exactly blame House he's not ready yet to forgive him.

I really love the ducklings, especially the new ones. But then again I love a big ensemble cast. :3

Yeah sad epi and hurry up and watch Bones woman!

Hehe, I love small ensemble casts. That way there is more focus on each of the characters, on their background, their interaction...

I've seen Bones now. That was kinda... a shocker, really O.o

Don't get me wrong I *love* that kind of stuff but it's really easy to re-tread and re-hash that stuff over and over and over again until I'm sick of it and aching for a new plot. Bigger ensemble casts make for a more diverse and interesting storyline for me and plus then when we get the episodes focusing on individual characters it's a real treat. ♥

It was... bad writing frankly. I could accept it if there was any hint of foreshadowing or if it didn't completely contradict his character but instead we get oh btw, he's evil but only sort of evil. Frankly it felt like a betrayal on the writer's part.

I thought that it would be Sweets or, God forbid, Hodgins. But as I said in that entry, I didn't particularly like him so I didn't really mind. It was just a real shock 8O

I seriously thought it was gonna be Sweets. Possibly Hodgins but I they were laying it on to thick to be him. Yeah and since he's mine I'm more WTF? about it obvs. XD

It was SOOO SAD!!! House was so scared of losing Wilson, he'd rather die. And he'd risk death not to lose Wilson! So sad, but Wilson is probably going to blame House (because he has to blame someone) for at least half of next season.

I liked it how they showed us for the first time how MUCH House really cares for Wilson and Wilson only. The others are mostly interesting lab rats for him XD

So true - the only reason he was so obsessive over Amber was because she was Wilson's. Wilson has given up so much for House, it was good to see it going the other direction.

That's cool that SPN got gains like that.

It is, it is! News like that show the series in a positive light for once :)
