NBC announced last week that they'll both air on Thursday, Jan. 24, bookending an episode of Celebrity Apprentice. I hear that one fills in Casey's backstory and reveals his connection to a woman who may or may not be a Russian arms dealer. And in the other, Capt. Awesome asks Chuck for his sister's hand. [Beat] In marriage. Woohoo!

If anything, Bela becomes more antagonistic." Ha! This is the next best thing to killing the hussy off! I'm afraid that we are stuck with her so at least they won't get all lovey-dovey. But I wonder, how long can Kripke keep this up faced with madly-in-love-with-Bela!Sera Gamble and girl-power!Dawn Ostroff. He promised us no Scooby gang story lines and look at the smelly pile of poo that's Red Sky... Yes, you will find no love for that character in my LJ.

It just makes me even happier that Kripke did not like Red Sky At Morning. I love it when we think alike!

Yeah, he didn't like it but they still wrote it, filmed it and aired it. It doesn't give me much faith in how much he can influence what's actually going to happen with his own show in the end. I mean, I know that he said "hindsight is always 20-20" but that ep was almost an exact copy of No Exit from last year with Jo as the star of the show. Learning curve = 0.

I am at the point where I think Kripke is going to say what he thinks the majority of the fandom wants to hear, to shut us up. As happy as I am about this, I need to see it to believe it in the long run.

I'm afraid that you are right. I mean, it's obvious that the majority of the fandom - I'm NOT saying everybody - didn't connect with the character at all and thinks that she's pulling the show down. I mean, the ratings say it pretty clearly. Bela pops up, ratings go down the drain.

I seen a spoiler from the second SPN magazine, dealing with Bela, that made me sick.

And yes, ratings for the episodes that Bela is in are the lowest rated ones. Doesn't that mean anything?

It dealt with the dream episode. And it said the reason she is in the episode (she steals the colt, which doesn't make sense since it isn't the 'real' colt, as the CRD said in Bedtime Stories, but whatever). But it also said that Sam has a steamy dream about her. And I was all WTF? Right, cuz she shot him, then sent Gordon after him, riiiiiight. And even if the magazone was a misprint and it meant Dean, I would still say WTF for the same reasons dealing with Sam.

Just remember, as per Kripke, she is only there to be an "antagonist" and nothing more. The girls were not brought on to be love interests!

Exactly! That's what pisses me off the most I think. He's a dirty lying liar who lies through his teeth. I mean, it's obvious that he would say ANYTHING to shut the fans up these days! I'm quite dissapointed by him :(

I finally got my issue in the mail today (I read it in a bookstore the other day) and wanted to let you know exactly what it says about Bela and Sam. And for anyone seeing this comment, and wants to read it themselves, its in the red box titled Bela Revealed on page 51.

Then, in Dream a Little Dream of Me, Bela once again pulls a fast one on the brothers by stealing - wait for it - the Colt, but not before Sam has a particularly lustful dream about her.

I think that he's now regreting that he added her. But he can't say it outright because of TPTB breathing down his neck. I mean, I wouldn't have minded if they kept for example Tamara from 3x01. It just feels that Bela is a grade A bitch - not in the "I love to hate" way but in a simple "I hate her" way - and she doesn't add anything to the storyline at all. I mean, she's like a deranged Lara Croft.
