The weirdness that's my dreams

Three nights ago: I dreamed about the TV show Psych. Gus found Shawn on the floor in their office. Someone shot the Psych in the head. He wasn't dead but very close. Then someone called Henry and told him that they shot his son in revenge for something he did as a cop... And that's when I woke up. It was like reading a fic, and in English too! I still remember the first line: "Gus never thought that Shawn could get hurt, not really." X)

Two nights ago: Supernatural this time. Sam and Dean were passing through a town and the local catholic priest let them stay at his house that was attached to the church. But in the night, they found out that he was actually a satanist. They found human flesh in the house and symbols painted with blood under the carpets. And then he locked them in their room and... I woke up!

Last night: I went to the police station to report a robbery? A kidnapping? A murder? Well, something bad. And I was in the wrong place in the wrong time and there was a madman with a pistol who took me and another guy hostage. I remember exactly how scared I was, but I didn't cry or freak out. On the outside I was completely calm, on the inside I was totally freaked out. I asked him to let me go and he said "No way", cocking the gun... And then my cell phone rang and woke me up. I was so glad, let me tell you. My heart was hammering like crazy. That was a really really bad dream. I can't remember the last time I was that scared!

Something normal now: Since today, I'm the proud owner of The Magnificent Seven: The Complete First Series. Yes! The DVD finally arrived!

That was a very scary dream! They seem real. I'm glad you were awakened by a phone call. I hope you only have pleasant dreams tonight.

Usually, my dreams are just a jumbled mess but from time to time, they are so vivid and real that when I wake up, I can't distinguish if it was reality, if it really happened, or if it was just imagination freaking out. Sometimes, I go through these deja-vu moments then because I actually dreamed about things happening before they happened and it all gets terribly confused. I never feel so scared like when I have one of these dreams.

I hope you don't have a dream like that again. *hugs*

wow, I don't know the TV series you named, but those dreams sure are weird. Those dreams can make you wonder what your subconscious busies itself with when you're sleeping. Such dreams can leave you a little shaken and puzzled.

I had a similar experience yesterday. I took a short nap and dreamed about a play I performed in (based on a real memory actually) and I messed up and forgot all my lines although I played a crucial part. Afterwards everything got out of control and there was a lot of blaming and shouting. I woke up totally confused. Maybe I got infected with my friends' nervousness who had to write an important exam today. I have no idea how I came up with this dream other than that. Especially since the real memory behind it was all good.

From time to time, I have really vivid dreams. Like really really vivid. I can't tell then if it really was just a dream. It's so vivid that it feels like a real memory with the sights and feelings and smells... Usually, it scares the hell out of me.

I remember one dream where I was in a town, like one of those small towns in Alaska in Winter, and the people got attacked by wolves in the streets. The animals hunted the people down, tearing them apart... It freaked me out so much that I remember it until this day.

woah, even more scary dreams. Vivid dreams can be really nice as long as the content stays on the good side. Those vividly, scary dreams freak me out, too.

And this feeling of déjà-vu is pretty scary on its own. Not being able to distinguish between dreams and reality makes it even more scary. Sometimes I revisit those vivid dreams and that feels like cementing a fake memory that I never made in reality.
