TV! TV! TV!
I was so happy to learn the real reason behind the sauna incident, that Jake smacked the guy not because of his own mistake but because the writer called Holt a homo. Yeah, Jake might not be Holt's biggest fan but he would never tolerate anyone talking crap like that around him. And I loved Jake even more for not telling the captain. Sometimes, occasionally, Jake is a really great example of a decent human being.
The episode itself wasn't anything special and the attack at the Russians at the very end was pretty dumb, but when Sam saved Callen and then hugged him, REALLY hugged him, not just a back-slap... My heart went aflutter. I live for these displays of friendship between them. In the recent past, there was an awful dearth of them.
I loved seeing Ichabod lose his crap when the Horseman killed all the masons. And then, later on, in the museum, that part was hilarious, how twitchy he was because they were getting it all wrong! I can imagine how frustrating that must have been.
Though I'm surprised by all the talk about poisonous tap water. Really? In the Czech Republic, the tap water is the cleanest there is, it's even cleaner than spring water from the mountains, there are official tests and reports that prove it. And it tastes wonderfully, too.
When he let the woman who was secretly buying and selling people simply die, sheesh, that was... yes, cold but also understandable. His bodyguard was obviously one of the people she bought like a piece of meat. And then there's Lizzie's husband - is he a good guy or a baddie? That's the question... Incredibly fascinating characters, every one of them!
