Yes, I'm using Byung-hun Lee's character poster because I fell in love with Storm Shadow in this movie. Like HEAD OVER HEELS, TOTALLY SMITTEN, DOLPHIN NOISES in love! He had a much bigger part here than in the first film and he was GLORIOUS! Oh God, purrfection pure! I mean, it started with Channing Tatum's Duke and Dwayne Johnson's Roadblock - who were the best besties I've seen in a long time! - and then Byung-hun Lee came along and I was like Dwayne WHO?! For me, Storm Shadow didn't just steal the movie, he ran away with it! And can you believe that Byung-hun Lee is 43?!

I was so happy that he joined the Joe's, even temporarily! That we found out that he didn't kill his master. Suddenly, I wanted to pet him and coo like a demented bird. I'm now curious if his relationship with Snake Eyes can be repaired. I actually hope that fandom picks up Storm Shadow and Flint and runs with it. Yeah, they had one scene together where they threatened to kill each other too, but it was smoldering hot!

Speaking of Flint, I wish they had explored his character more. We learned so much about Lady Jay - cool gal, but I preferred Rachel Nichols' Scarlett in the first movie - but nothing about Flint. Well, besides the fact that he was great at parkour and had an odd sense of humor.

I adored the friendship between Duke and Roadblock. That was sweet. Dwayne Johnson has great chemistry with his fellow soldiers. Like he did with Reaper in Doom. But other than that, neither Block (Dwayne) or the original Joe (Bruce Willis) made a real impression on me.

Also - the Cobra Commander. It's Rex AKA JGL's character from the first movie, right?

Oh, the sequel was already picked up! There will be a 3rd GI Joe movie! Hopefully with more Storm Shadow!
