The Middleman, big bang fics and manga

I finally, finally got my hands on a passable copy of The Middleman, ep 1x02...

It wasn't as funny as the first one. Still cute but not as funny. And to be honest, I'm not all that interested in Wendy's roomie's escapades. If they don't cut her on-screen time soon, I think she'll start getting on my nerves. But! The Middleman himself is still so cute - and he still so reminds me of Fraser from dS! :)

Oh my gosh! Did you see? leonidaslion posted her big bang fic, set in her Berserk!universe, and it's over 200.000 words long! *runs in circles*

After the disaster that was Harrison's book *still shuddering* I picked up the manga "Black Lagoon, vol. 1" by Rei Hiroe. Now, that's a heroine to my liking. Levi - the German transcription of her name - kicks so much ass! Oh my, I so miss the anime... :(

I downloaded ep 1x03 so we will see... I hope that the show won't go downhill, that the pilot wasn't the best ep they will have to offer :( I will give it until 1x05. If it doesn't pick up again, I will probably drop it.
