* Question: So, we know that Dean Winchester got out of Hell and how he got out but! What if he died now? Would he go to Heaven or to Hell? Did his rescuer save his soul and rid it of the demonic bargain taint or did he grant Dean only a short reprieve? What do you think?

* I think I might be the only person who is not head-over-heels in love with Castiel. He's an interesting recurring character but I consider him on par with Ruby or Ellen *shrugs*

* According to TV Guide, The Sarah Connor Chronicles got the go-ahead for two more scripts, Knight Rider for four more. What's the saying? "Among the blind the one-eyed is king"? Just last year, shows with 5+ mil. and 7+ mil. viewers (respectively) would have been dropped like a hot potato. But with other shows utterly failing (the disaster that's Pushing Daisies, anyone?) I guess even those ratings are a hit...

* According to EZTV, the CW is developing an America's Next Top Model spin-off *rolls eyes*

* And to yesterday's ratings, I loved EZTV's blurb: "CW's combo of "Smallville" (1.6/4 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall) and "Supernatural" (1.4/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall) held up well, rising a bit week to week in its target 18-34 demo despite increased competition." Hey, at least something, right?

* For the people who download their TV shows via BT - what's up with all those HQ files these days? I mean, 350mb is just fine for me, I don't have to have a 1119mb file to watch. If I like the show well enough, I buy it on DVD to get it in awesome quality. Why should I kill my bandwidth for HQ?

To me, Dean is completely free of the deal. Should he die now, hell shouldn't be a threat anymore. As I see it, only Castiel can send Dean back there now. Him or any of his fellow-soldiers, I suppose, but it'd be independent from the deal.

Plus, as far as I'm concerned, I consider that the deal was honoured, anyway. Dean was sent to hell as he was supposed to. The guys in hell should have better guards, imho, it's their own fault if God's soldiers can breeze down there and pull souls'out without anyone being the wiser, right? ;-)

So, all isn't lost for T:TSCC, then? Good to know *fingers crossed*

It's not just you. I like him fine. He's as you said an interesting character. Hell, I even think he's mildly attractive. But I just don't get this instant fangirl following that thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread.

Hey I completely love Cass but a lot of that is the implications of him existing and what that means for the SPN universe and the rest of the show. Plus you know the shallow part of me who things he's one damn fine looking man (SPN rarely has girls that I like, although the Crossroad Demon(s) are always smokin'). So I imagine it's just fangirls latching onto another hot reaccuring *male* character.

I do prefer HQ but like you said I can deal with 350mb. But HQ is fantastic for vids, art etc. So there's that and plus a lot of stuff is getting ripped off of HD tvs these days so it's getting the benefit of that.

I find Castiel intriguing but that's it, I guess *shrugs* But then, I feel the same about Bobby or felt about Gordon. Mishka is handsome, that's true, though :)

And about HQ - I pay for the amount of data I download, so the smaller the file the less I pay or the more I can download for the same amount of money. That's why I'm no friend of HQ :(

I've wondered the same thing myself. I daresay he's anxious not to find out!

I'm not head over heels in love with Castiel. *shrugs* As a character, I find him intriguing, but only inasmuch as his story impacts upon that of the brothers Winchester. I hope to learn more about his aims and objectives in the same way that I desperately want to learn more about Ruby's aims and objectives - I can't truly understand them as characters without that information! In other regards, he's very easy on the eyes, which is always nice in any show - I thought last year's Ruby was extremely pretty, too, but tend to, well, notice guys more. ;-) So in terms of aesthetics, he does more for me than any hot chick ever could, because that's how I swing. *G*

I like Castiel but I just don't get the hype. It... boggles my mind. I think that the fans get all head-over-heels very quickly in this fandom, start communities and forums etc. but abandon them just as quickly. I see that for example on all the Ruby!hype there was, comms et all. and it's so dwindling now...

This is, indeed, a highly reactionary fandom. It makes me cringe at times, seeing all the over-reaction. But then again, there are also many wonderfully insightful people in the fandom as well. I suppose we just have to take the bad with the good!

You're not the only one hon. I am not mighty impressed either yet, but I do like the fact that there is a new guy and a powerful one allegedly on the boys' side. I also don't get the massive Dean/Castiel or Misha slash squee going around *shrugs*

Casteal is fine as a recuring chericter - I'm not head over heals for him, but I don't dislike him either.

I think Dean is free of the deal, yeah, if only because demons might be scared to drag him back in, now that he has an angel perched on his shoulder. I can't recall how was the bargain worded, exactly, but from what I remember it was along the lines of "give me one year and then you can take my soul", which technically says nothing about keeping it.

I'm pretty nuts about Castiel, but I'm that way about angels any day of the week.

Pushing Daisies is failing? Oh, now that's bad news...

I think Dean is free of the deal now, so I guess where he would go now, if he died, would depend on whether he is deemed worthy of heaven or not. And I suppose working with Castiel will only help his cause in that respect.

I'm pretty sure you know this already but I adore Castiel, why? Because he hits a lot of buttons for me. He's an angel, has black wings, is a warrior and rescued Dean from hell. On top of that he has chosen a damned fine looking vessel in which to communicate with Dean. Yes, I am that shallow! But each to their own, I say ^_~!
