Supernatural 415

I really liked this episode! Some parts, I've re-watched a couple of times already...

In no particular order:
* I didn't mind Pamela dying. She was great but I didn't feel sad about her death *shrugs*
* It was great to see Tessa again! The actress is beautiful!
* Chris Heyerdahl rocks! He was really creepy as Alastair! Yikes!
* I loved the scene with Dean and Castiel, the whole "you do just the opposite" talk XD
* I adored the little brotherly moments between Sam and Dean - in the diner, in the hotel room, in the cemetery... The way Dean just looked at Sam and Sam started literally squirming...
* On the shallow side - Dean's lips in this episode! All red and puffy! Wow, sinful...

Ratings: 2.84 mil., 1.1/3 demo - *sigh* well, what can one expect after 4? 5? weeks long hiatus and going against the long-promoted continuation of the Izzy storyline on GA... Now I'm really glad that the show was already picked up for S5!

ETA: Aha, no wonder the ratings were so low. The episode was pre-empted in at least three markets! For college football! Sheesh...

Rargh, there were preemptions all over the place. This is what happens when sweeps fall during March Madness. MAD. :(

On the other hand, the bad ratings can be solely blamed on the pre-emption ;P And it's always good to have something to blame it on! I mean, did you see the finale numbers for Smallville? Not even 3.60 mil.! For Smallville! So, it's obvious that it really was the pre-emption, not people losing interest!

I loved so many things about this episode. I don't have enough brain to write them all up at the moment, but I really loved it. Bleak and dark and depressing as hell, but the character exploration and plot movement was note-perfect.

Exactly. I loved the interaction between Sam and Dean in this one. It hurt so much to see Sam so obviously lying to Dean and Dean knowing it...

That actor who played Alistair was superb

The actor was on Stargate Atlantis, playing two roles: Halling and the Wraith Todd. He has this great creepy chemistry with male leads...

Me too, me too! In this episode, his lips were so... red and puffy, especially in the motel room scene when Sam lied to him. Wow. I wonder how soft they must be *swoons*

I love Alastair's vessels in this episode a lot more than the one in Heaven and Hell. More creepy somehow. And yeah, yay for Tessa! I almost didn't recognize her myself, and I was wondering why Dean didn't recognize her but then I remembered Dean didn't rememebr the whole dying thing.

Yes, Chris Heyerdahl does creepy immensely well. I loved him as the Wraith Todd on Stargate Atlantis. He had awesome chemistry with Joe Flanigan's Sheppard!

And it was so... sweet/hot when Tessa kissed Dean so gently \o/
