Sometimes I think that I might be the only person on the planet who doesn't care for Twilight at all. I have never read the books, I have no intention to watch the movie, I don't think that Stephenie Meyer walks on water and to be honest, I find Robert Pattinson butt ugly, like really hideous, especially with the white make-up. Sheesh! And where ever you go on the net, it gets shoved down your throat, trailers, pictures etc. It's worse than Harry Potter! *head/desk*

I don't care for it - I loathe it. I think it's the worst kind of trash and I actively campaign against it, recommend people to read anything but Twilight. Ugh.

I read the summary and it turned me off. I love paranormal books but this is just over the top X(

I liked Robert Pattinson in "Harry Potter" but WTF is up with his hair in this "Twilight" movie? I will never read the "Twilight" books because they are crap, but I sure as hell enjoying [livejournal.com profile] cleolinda's "Twilight" summaries. Those are hilarious.

I watched the first HP movie and it bored me to tears. The first HP book wasn't bad but I didn't have to immediately run and get the second one. And the Twilight stuff... Not really for me X(

This Twilight business reminds me of just how much I love Harry Potter and that whole phenomenon. I've seen bits of the Twilight books and I've just had to laugh and laugh, they were that bad.

Exactly. I mean, I like paranormal books - but not about heroines with the spine of a jellyfish! Give me Mercedes Thompson or Kate Daniels any day...

You're not the only one. I find the premise a touch silly, to start with, and also a bit squicky. No plans on reading or watching it, either. I disagree on the Robert Pattinson front though, I find him cute. ^_____^

I saw Pattinson's pictures, with the make-up and without, and he's so not my type *shudders*

I'm with you. I have no interest in Twilight.

I just really don't get what the fuss is about X( But then, I thought the same thing about Harry Potter...

ROFL I've never read any of the books, and have no intention of reading any of the books. Even less intention of going to see the film. Everything I've heard about these stories tells me I would absolutely HATE them.

[identity profile] katikat.livejournal.com 2008-11-29 08:51 am (UTC)(link)
Especially what people say about book 4 makes me roll my eyes. I mean, sheesh X(

It's so weird that some things get so hyped up. You are right to compare it to Harry Potter *nods*!

[identity profile] katikat.livejournal.com 2008-12-06 05:06 pm (UTC)(link)
And the more hype there is, the less interested I am X(
