Manga and other things...

* I'm reading "Yami no Matsuei" (Descendants of Darkness) vol. 3 at the moment and I have to wonder in what GR shelf this one belongs. Is it still non-yaoi or is it already yaoi? Because it's definitely not shoujo anymore and it never was a shounen thing. I mean, Tsuzuki and Hisoka are not lovers, that's for sure, but Muraki... In this volume, it was made obvious that Muraki had raped Hisoka before he killed him and then he assaulted and blackmailed Tsuzuki on the ship... So, is it yaoi or not? *tilts head, confused*

* This review of the latest Eureka ep summed up my misgivings about the show as of late perfectly.

* I have yet to watch any of the new eps of Bones. And I feel no real urge to do it any time soon. I'm not sure why. Last season finale was completely ridiculous and so OOC that it really affected my love for this show :(

The first two episodes of Bones weren't all that good, IMO. The one that aired this week was much better. I'm still liking the show, but admittedly, I'm a fan of the Booth/Brennan not-quite-romance.

I watch the show mostly for Bones and Booth - other than that it's just another procedural - but I just can't get all enthusiastic about the show anymore. To me it seems like the show jumped the shark with the whole Zack thing. It's rather frustrating *sigh*

A friend was suggesting yesterday that Bones might be doing this season what House did last season. They're bringing in different characters every week to audition for Zack's position. That way, the audience never knows what to expect, and we get to see lots of different kinds of characters.

I'll be glad for the few episodes Zack will be in this year. He wasn't my favorite, but I liked him a lot. I'm actually getting into Sweets. He's adorkable in a way that's different from Zack.

*sigh* So they are doing the House thing too? NCIS also. I mean, on House, it was something new but now, every other show seems to have adopted that plot! X(

Hmm Yami no Matsuei... It's been some time since I last read or watched it. But it's definitely on my favorites list.

The series is a little confusing with the amount of innuendo and the characters' relationships (not to forget the background stories), it feels like yaoi but there's never anything more than hints and playing with the reader's imagination. Although I guess the most definite hints occur whenever Muraki enters the scene ^^. So I think the answer to your question might be that YnM contains a lot of BL innuendo but does not cross the line to actual yaoi (at least not in the available volumes). There's good fanfiction around for that though.

It answer is the third victim was dr Muraki :) He is simply walking terror :)

I love your icon! Tsuzuki has always been so cute when he popped up ears and a tail whenever sweets were mentioned :P

Yep, those are definitely the cutest scenes of the manga/anime ^^. Tsuzuki's addiction to sweets is funny. And I like his chibi-happy moments.

Thank you for your v-gift by the way. I had a great day yesterday... and today was good too. Went home to visit the family. Now I'm pretty much drunk after a fun game of cards (and cocktails) XD *staggers off in the direction of her bed*
