Hellboy II: The Golden Army!

It was an okay movie. It didn't really floor me but then, I didn't expect it to be awesome or riveting, just really entertaining and that it was.

* I like Ron Pearlman! I have loved him since The Magnificent Seven because he just rocks!
* I fell in love with Abe. Such an interesting, interesting character. And so lovable. I felt so sorry for him when Nuala died :'(
* Who really "made" the movie, though, was Prince Nuada. He was just awesome! He totally stole the action when he was on-screen. The way he fought, wow, the best part of the movie. I loved, loved his fight scenes! And I actually understood why he did what he did, he wasn't a bad guy per se, he just wanted to save his people.

So, overall, on par with Iron Man which I liked but not really swooned over either :)

I would have enjoyed the movie more if it had just been about Prince Nuada. Hellboy is a good character, but I think Nuada deserved his own movie. ^_^

That's true. I think that the way Hellboy is written, his character in the movie, it's not strong enough to cary the action on itself whereas Prince Nuada was THE man of the movie, definitely.
