Torchwood
I've finally got around to watch Torchwood. And I really like it. Especially Captain Jack of course, the man of the show. I mean, he is simply gorgeous and mysterious and funny and interesting and... gah! I don't have the words describe him as he deserves. For me, this was the first time I saw him because I've never watched Doctor Who. But now I'm smitten.
I decided not to read other people's disappointed comments because I don't agree with them and I don't want them to spoil the love I have for the show. Sure, the stories could be better but hey, the series is just starting so there will be some bumbs in the road.
And another thing is that the British TV series are rather different from the US stuff. Just take The Professionals and Starsky & Hutch. Both excellent shows but on a bit different tone.
What I like about Torchwood is the curious staff. For them, their Captain is the most interesting mystery out there and that's when they are dealing with aliens every single day. Kinda cool, don't you think?
But now that I'm drooling over Jack here, I feel like watching Doctor Who. I'm curious, how Jack was introduced there, where he came from. Note to herself: Find Doctor Who somewhere :D
Oh, and could someone tell me, what Jack said before he kissed the girl in the 2nd episode? I didn't quite get it :(
