What prompted me to write an entry...

Okay, what prompted me to write an entry? This review that someone - reviewer conveniently didn't leave their name - posted to my "He Is Having a Baby" story in the Fake fandom:

"Um, can't fault writing style beyond every character is entirely out of context with the original show/manga but did you ever take a lesson in human anatomy? What opening are you referring to opening? Babibes are not delivered via the rectum nor through the urinary tubes. Even most people who do the male pregnancy take that into account."

Eh... huh? I mean, out of context? The AU warning kinda didn't click? And WHY can't the baby be born via rectum in an mpreg story? *scratches her head* I mean... HUH? I'm kinda used to the fact that this story causes an uproar every time someone reads it. I got flamed and who-knows-what-else because of that story but this is not a flame, just a critique that men can't deliver babies through their "natural" openings? That's really kinda... silly? *scratches her head again then tilts it to the side* What do you think, my dear friends?

And what have I been up to these last couple of weeks? Manga. Manga everywhere. I love Germany to pieces, really. So far, I have 35 books bought! I probably won't have enough money for food these last days but that doesn't matter. Manga!!! I will miss this when I return back home where there are NO manga stores at all... *sigh*

Oh, and since I was bored, I made a Numb3rs song vid. Yep, you hear right. A song vid. I would call it an ep vid because I could work with just the one episode I have here. The music doesn't fit either, but I have like 10 songs here so I've chosen my favorite one. But other than that, I'm really happy with the result. As soon as I return home, I will upload it somewhere. Windows Movie Maker is a treasure, really :D

Off to roam the town again... and visit my favorite manga shop *squee*

As you probably know already, I'm not into mpreg fics but I do have to say that since it is a genre where there is no real life situations or information to consult for accuracy, I'd say anything goes. It's up to each writer to figure out how it's done, how it's carried out and how it's delivered (pun intended). *grins*

It really is a genre where you suspend your disbelief while reading.

*scratches head* I have read, reviewed, and loved your mpreg stories and knew way before I started the actual story that it was AU. I agree with kwycksylver, it's up to the writer to decided how the baby comes out and via rectum makes the most sense. The urinary tract idea though, shutters. The mental image of seeing a guy's penis dilated by 10 centimeters is just scary, no matter what.

With that said, *pokepoke* The Claim saga? Lemon scene, Mpreg, Heero/Duo *poke* Or has it been abandoned? I hope not. I really love the story line and it's so cute!

MANGA!!! Gods, I've been downloading like crazy!!!! ^___^

I'm not into MPreg fics so I've always stayed away from them.No need forcing my views on other people, right? This person shouldn't have read it in the first place. *shrugs*

I've only read ONE Mpreg fic - 'Solitaire' by Anne. It's totally AU and Quatre wasn't even entirely human. Differences in anatomy was explained sufficiently for me to 'believe' that it's doable. So I had no problem with it.

But then again...Male Pregnancy is totally fantasy....like pigs flying...or talking dragons...and little green men. ^^; If you're gonna read it, go with the flow.

And this post is probably way more than what you're looking for so I'll go away now. ^___^

The same as you, sweetness, that the comment is silly really. I mean men physically can't have babies, fact. So if you are going to write an mpreg, you have to use a bit of poetic licence and most people that read them understand that, I think... but obviously there are some that don't, eh ^_~?!

I can't wait for you to tell me about all the manga you have bought ^_^!
