On the TV Front
Elementary: I'm quite disappointed by Sherlock's development. As a character, he's getting more and more acerbic and venomous. I would've thought that Joan's influence would make him more human rather than less. He's now colder and harsher than he was at the very beginning. It's like he's devolving instead of evolving. I don't like it. And what's Mycroft's deal anyway?
I think the writers dropped the ball with Tiva. I know that they couldn't have predicted that Cote de Pablo would leave but not even when Tony and Ziva parted ways was there ANYTHING said outright - why? Cote was gone. Why couldn't they have given the shippers at least that? Also, why is EVERYTHING about Gibbs? Some hotshot lawyer going after the team? Because of Gibbs, of course. Ziva writing a message to herself? About GIBBS, of course! Even the Tiva split wasn't just about them, Gibbs had to be in the mix! I'm really tired of every arc, every season finale being about Gibbs and his issues, even by proxy! I think this show needs a good shake-up. Though both 1103 and 1104 were hilarious, their new co-workers, ha!
Wow, James Spader, what presence, what charisma! I love how ruthless Red is. And that Lizzie is almost just as ruthless and cold. I wonder what the connection between them is.
