Can't Be Bothered, Really

I still haven't caught up on Agents of SHIELD, Daredevil, Sense8 and 12 Monkeys, but I just can't be bothered, really. I plan on getting 12M on DVD anyways but DD bored me to tears, S8 had a great concept but... eh, and AoS... I love Lance and Bobbi but I can't stand the endlessly shifting loyalties, all the betrayals, now we're with them, now we're with them... eh. I might just follow Huntingbird on Tumblr via gifs and be done with the show because Coulson and Daisy never held my interest and it's all about them... eh. Just... eh. I might return to the show one day but right now, I JUST CAN'T BE BOTHERED!

12 Monkeys Renewed!

Yay, 12 Monkeys was renewed for S2: link. I'm honestly surprised because the ratings have been rather poor so far. But I guess, with the state of Syfy's slate... they didn't have much choice. It was either renewing this or scraping their whole slate - which would be rather embarrassing. Yeah, they are finally trying again but they simply damaged their brand too much and now it's a real uphill fight to get their viewers back. I miss the good old days of SGA...

New Show: 12 Monkeys 101-104

What a great sci-fi show! I admit I have never seen the movie on which this is based, 12 Monkeys with Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt and Madeleine Stowe, so I have no idea what's going on - and it's FANTASTIC that way, not knowing where the show is headed, what the Army of the 12 Monkeys is... But I think I prefer the future setting, the post-apocalyptic landscape, the fight for survival, because I love the deep relationship and trust between Cole and Ramse (played by no other than Kirk Acevedo!). And I love the chaotic time jumping, awesome stuff.

Too bad the show's pulling 0.2-0.3 demo only which means it will be canned by Syfy at the end of the season *sigh* I just hope we get some resolution, an acceptable ending at the end of 113. I'll watch the show in batches because it's heavily serialized and it's much better that way. I can HIGHLY recommend it, it's really good.
