Staying away, staying away!

Ah, summer is here and with it stifling heat and wanks. In the House fandom, people who don't like Cuddy and/or Lisa Edelstein are misogynists. In the J2 fandom, it's the old, old "fat vs. thin" song again. And fandom in general? People whine that authors don't warn them enough to protect their precious sensibilities. Oh yes, fungus and wanks. I really don't care which side in the above-mentioned and other wanks my flist chooses because, to be crude, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one and nobody's opinion has more merit or weight than the next person's. Agree on disagreeing and learn to live with it.

And if someone feels the need to point out how wrong I am - please, don't bother. I respect that you think differently, it's your God given right, I don't haunt your LJ trying to convince you of the error of your ways, so show me the same respect, please.

Also, defriending amnesty! If you have felt like defriending me in the past/for some time but it made you uncomfortable or whatever, here is your chance. We will part amicably with no hard feelings and wish each other good luck and good day.

You're right, everyone has an opinion and they're all entitled to their own. Unfortunately people rarely agree to disagree. That being said, I try to stay far away from wank. It gives me a headache and heartburn. That's my opinion.

I liked Cuddy before she turned from a strong woman into a love-sick puppy. I want the Cuddy from S1 or 2 back. All the shipping is quite annoying.

Basically this thing (http://www.journalfen.net/community/wank_report/518.html?thread=3555846#t3555846). When I stumbled across it, I was all "moving on, moving on". Old song, just a different tune.

Am I a misogynist if I dislike one female character in a series, but like a different one in the same series? ^____^ I dislike characters because of the way they're written, not just because of their gender.

I've learnt to stay away from wanks, or topics that have the possibility of causing wanks, or comms that delight in wanking. But having said that I do sometimes feel strongly about certain subjects that I can't help reading them, or I accidentally read them, and I spent hours berating myself after that!

Yeah, it's like watching a train wreck. I know that it'll upset me, but I read them anyway. And then I'm pissed at myself for doing it X(
