Star Trek

I love EW's 8 New Faces of Star Trek. I really want to go and see the movie - but Wolverine first! The ST actors look so good, the movie looks so good, the trailer looks great! The thing is, I never saw the original series so I'm not biased from the get-go (the same goes for Wolverine and its re-invented characters since I never watched/read X-Men). Also, according to EW, the sequel is already in pre-production? Wow, that was fast! And it makes me want to see it even more now! *bounces*

Several of the people on my flist who saw it said they were never ST fans, and they loved it. I'm more worried about how long-time fans like me will enjoy it. I actually watched it in the 1960s, when it originally aired. ^_____^

I saw Star Trek last night and thought it was bloody fantastic. I am an old school fan I was totally blown away with the fabulousness of it all. I's so going to see it again because I loved it just that much!
